Ann Livingston Obituary
Ann L. Scruggs Livingston, 73, of Midland, GA died Monday, December 18, 2017 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Jay Grantham officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Livingston was born May 13, 1944 in Hattiesburg, MS daughter of the late Thomas Joseph Scruggs and Emma Lee Baker Scruggs. She worked by her husband's side for 43 years when her and her husband retired together at Livingston Storage and Transfer Company in 2007. Ann was a member of Pathfinders Sunday school class for 28 years.
She was the sweetest, most loving and caring mother anyone could wish for. Ann was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, was a great listener with not a selfish bone in her body.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her 2 sisters, Emma Jeane Jackson and Shirley Wheat and 2 brothers, Johnny Scruggs and Tommy Scruggs.
Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Clifford Livingston of Midland, GA, sons, Clifford "Bud" O. Livingston, III of Columbus, GA and Jeffrey Scott Livingston (Theresa) of Dunwoody, GA, grandsons, Dayton Livingston (Kasey) of Fargo, ND and James Livingston of Columbus, GA, granddaughter, Jessica Livingston of Columbus, GA, great granddaughter, Alley Livingston of Fargo, ND, brother, Ernest Scruggs (Faye) of Mississippi, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Valley Rescue Mission 2903 2nd Ave. Columbus, GA 31904.
