Glenn Eston Brooks, 64, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Midtown Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 12:30 PM Monday, March 20, 2017 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Rev. Rob Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Brooks was born March 1, 1953 in Jacksonville, FL son of the late James E. Brooks and Mary Lillian Martin Holder. He worked for Jordan City Pharmacy. He loved the Lord and enjoyed playing the guitar. Mr. Brooks was always helpful and loved playing the lottery and scratch off's.
Survivors include his daughter, Tossha Brooks, son-in-law, Jimmy Anderson, son, Tony Brooks (Amber) all of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Tiffany Brooks Casper Hamlin, Brantley Brooks, Makensie McDonald, Jennifer Brantley and Wyatt Burkett, step-son, Kenneth McDonald, II, sisters, Helen Higginbotham of Phenix City, AL and Rachel Brooks of Jacksonville, FL, two close friends, Joseph Bane and John Logan, Jr. of Columbus, GA, ex-wife and friend, Deborah Brooks, and ex-mother-in-law, Mary Ruth Jones; several nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.
