Ms. Ingeborg Lederman Jajko, passed away peacefully in her home Easter morning. She was 83 years of age.
The family will have a private ceremony according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
"Ms. Inga", as she was affectionately known by family and friends, loved to cook and do yardwork. Her rum cakes, still linger on the lips of those eating a slice or some say drink a slice. She was a sweet, loving, kind, and loving lady to one and all and will be greatly missed. "Ms. Inga" is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Brigdetta, her husband, Casimer "Casey", and her son, Peter.
Some of her past times were playing word puzzles, sewing, couponing, beating Robert, her son, at cards.
She is survived by a daughter, Christine, nieces and nephews in New Mexico, Georgia, Massachusetts, and a son, Robert.
The family would like to thank the following for the caring and support throughout the years for "Ms. Inga": Garey and Cindy Klepak, for their guidance and friendship. Mom always said you two were a cute couple; Gwen, she thought you were a good lady; Dr. Jefferson Jones, Sr., for your years and years of helping her through medical needs. She loved your beard; Rescare, for the loving support and caring to mother; Bi-City Heating, she looked forward to the visits, and had her cane ready to swing if a filter was forgotten; April Daniel, thanks for the time you spent with mom. She thought you were a nice young lady; Samantha Pagano, Michael and Haley, thanks for the special moments you created for mom; Samantha, you were her shining light. Her eyes lit up when you arrived. You never did wrong according to her; Haley, you were her cutie pie. She loved playing dolls with you and coloring pages and making faces at your mom; Michael, keep that strong handshake going, she loved that and said it shows character, and yes, she thought you are a very good looking young man; Era Mae Patrick, through thick and thin, you were friends for 50 years. I can't express my gratitude and she loved you more than you will know; Al and Carol Hofer, for the constant motivation and uplifting words you sent through the years. She smiled when seeing your cards.
