Linda Chase Obituary
Linda Susan Chase, 66 of Phenix City, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 23, 2015.
Funerals Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Gene Boyd of Cascade Hills Church officiating. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 26, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Mrs. Chase was born on July 11, 1948 in Columbus, Georgia, daughter of the late Russell Philip Napier and the late Olga Miller Napier. Linda loved gospel music, electronic gadgets, shopping thrift/antique malls and would never pass up a good yard sale. But her biggest love was her family. Her children and grandchildren were her world. She brought so much happiness to her family and will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Jackie Diane Posey and twin brothers, LeRoy and Leon Napier.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Alan Chase of Phenix City, Alabama, two sons, Jerry Dale Bowman of Phenix City, Alabama and Gerald Edward Lisle Jr. of Hamilton, Georgia; one daughter, Tina Lisle Gantt (Greg) of Hamilton, Georgia; two sisters, Betty Merle Lawhon (Charles) of Columbus, Georgia and Martha Ann Butler (Larry) of Ozark, Alabama; one brother, Russell Philip Napier, Jr. of Columbus, Georgia. Grandchildren; Gerald "Dale" Lisle of Phenix City, Alabama, Taylor Gantt of Hamilton, Georgia, Miller Gantt of Hamilton, Georgia, Lena Akers of Phenix City, Alabama, Christy Bowman of Phenix City, Alabama, Jerry Dale Bowman, Jr. of Phenix City, Alabama, Jerry Dale Bowman, III of Phenix City, Alabama, Zackery Bowman of Phenix City, Alabama, Kendall Michelle Bowman of Phenix City, Alabama; 9 great grandchildren.
