Lucille Norsworthy Obituary
Lucille Norsworthy, 82, of Fortson, GA died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 15, 2016 at Britt David Baptist Church 2801 W. Britt David Rd. Columbus, GA 31909 with Rev. Tim Jones officiating. A private family interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the services at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Norsworthy was born October 7, 1933 in Covington County, AL daughter of the late Jake L. and Fannie Ross Lee. She retired after 33 years as the Operator for Sunshine Biscuit and later worked for 12 years at Macy's Department Store. Mrs. Norsworthy was also a member of Britt David Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Craft.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, George Norsworthy of Fortson, GA, daughter, Teresa Dow of Smith Station, AL, sister, Linda Jo Norris (Pete) of Shiloh, GA, grandchildren, Tim Craft of Fortson, GA and Scott Craft of Columbus, GA, and great grandchildren, Haylee Craft and Estella Craft.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Britt David Baptist Church.
