Shirley McCook Obituary
Shirley Mae McCook, 80, of Box Springs, GA died Friday, February 26, 2016 at Midtown Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, February 29, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. McCook was born February 2, 1936 in Ocilla, GA, daughter of the late Mose Methias Harper and Lonnie Kelly Harper. She worked as a manager for Lerners Shop.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Randall McCook, Sr.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Ozelee "Oz" McCook of Box Springs, GA; sons, Thomas "Randy" McCook of Box Springs, GA and Michael "Andy" McCook of Columbus, GA; brothers, Raymond Harper of Box Springs, GA and Jimmy Harper (Sandra) of Ocilla, GA; sister-in-law, Rhonell Harper of Fitzgerald, GA and four grandchildren.
