Patricia Ellen McCall, known affectionately as Ellen to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2024, at her home in Pine Mountain, GA.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 16, 2024 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Josh Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM, Friday, March 15, 2024 at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

 Ellen was born on April 5, 1947, in Columbus, GA she lived a vibrant life filled with love, creativity, and service, touching the hearts of everyone she met. Ellen's battle with cancer showcased her resilience and strength, characteristics that defined her throughout her 76 years. Ellen was a proud graduate of Jordan High School, Class of 1965. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to own and operate Stock Car Fiberglass for over three decades alongside her husband Cecil, a testament to her dedication and hard work. She also shared her talents as a manager at Bath & Body Works for 15 years and at Rainbow Women’s Apparel for 12 years. Her professional life was marked by a commitment to excellence and a passion for nurturing the growth of her employees.

Ellen's life was rich with interests and hobbies that reflected her love for life and her creative soul. Riding Harley's brought her immense joy, as did spending precious time with her beloved family. Her hands were rarely still, as she found solace and happiness in arranging flowers and gift baskets. Ellen's love for anything pink was well-known, as it reflected her warm and playful nature. She was also a generous spirit, always willing to give her time to others through volunteering, embodying the words, "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give," by Winston Churchill.

Ellen's loving heart extended to her cherished family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Cecil McCall, with whom she shared a beautiful and enduring partnership of 57 years. Her legacy lives on through her daughter, Nobia McCall Quinn, her son-in-law, Michael Quinn, and her adored grandchildren, Isaac Grimes and his wife, Leigh Grimes, and Jesse McCall. The family circle includes her treasured great-grandson, William Grimes. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Martin McCall, whose memory she held close to her heart.

Ellen was the embodiment of generosity, always extending her hands and heart to those in need. Her creative spark ignited a sense of beauty in the world around her, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her. Friends and family will remember Ellen as a loving matriarch, a creative force, and a generous soul whose impact will be felt for generations to come.
