Brady Efurd Obituary

Brady Delma Efurd, 65, of Columbus, GA, died Saturday, April 21, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Denise Whitfield officiating. Interment will be held at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Efurd was born May 26, 1952 in Eufaula, Alabama, son the late Durwood Dean Efurd and Bessie Merle Brown Efurd. He attended Jordan Vocational High School and retired after 41 years from W.C. Bradley, Char-Broil and coached his son and daughter for many years in T-Ball, Baseball and Football.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Derrill Carl Efurd, sister, Brenda Gail Efurd and sister-in-law, Mary Efurd.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Rebecca "Becky" Newman Efurd of Columbus, GA; children, Mendy Williams (Chris) of Fortson, GA and Mark Efurd (Kerry) of Hoover, AL; grandchildren, Zack Williams, Payton Williams and Avery Efurd; brothers, Edward Dean Efurd of Phenix City, AL and Dennis Ray Efurd (Joyce) of Cottonwood, AL; special sister-in-law, Connie Goodman (Roy) of Columbus, GA; nieces and nephews, Diane Grantham (David), Terry Efurd (Leanne), Denise Whitfield (Wes), Kelli Whitehurst (Jason), Richard Kelso (Joey) and Bryan Efurd (Christy).
