David was born October 30. 1967 in Columbus, Ga. son of Ada Jackson Evermon and the late Don W. Evermon. He was a proud graduate of Carver High School, class of 1985. In June of '85, he married his high-school sweetheart and childhood friend, Debbie. They were happily married for 33 years. During that time, they had four children. He was a loyal, hardworking employee at Panasonic for 29 years. Where coworkers became like family and he was known for his knowledge and expertise in his field.
One of David's many passions in life was sports. He enjoyed playing, watching and coaching a variety of sports. He was a competitive player, a passionate coach and an outspoken fan. He believed in always giving 110% and never quitting. His impact will never be forgotten both on and off the field. Saturdays in the Fall were reserved for Notre Dame football where GO IRISH could be heard for miles around. During good seasons and bad, David was a faithful fan. His other hobbies include hunting, antiquing with his wife and enjoying family time. The lessons learned through David's hardwork, dedication and love will be passed on through generations to come.
Other than his mother Ada Evermon, David is survived by his wife of 32 years, Debbie Evermon, daughters, Danielle Barfield (Trey), Kristin Pigg (Brooks), Valerie Ward (David), son, David Wesley Evermon, twin sister, Dana Arrowsmith (Darren), brother, Darin W. Evermon (Flo) and three grandchildren, Kendall Barfield, Eli Ward and Ruthie Pigg.
