Eva Elks Obituary
Eva C. Elks, 82, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, December 18, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery with Rev. Jim Emory officiating. The following will serve as Active pallbearers: Ronnie Henderson, James Redden, Jorg Childress, Tony Cheal, Andy Ross and John Brower. The following will serve as Honorary pallbearers: Joseph and James Jacklett and Austin Price according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Bvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Elks was born November 2, 1934 in Beaufort County, NC daughter of the late Otha and Kate Williams Chandler. She worked as a Technician for West GA Regional Hospital and was a former member of Lamb of God.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Richard J. Elks and a brother, Otha Chandler.
Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Adkins (Donald), son, Richard W. Elks (Dewon Jacklett), granddaughter, Brandi Price, great grandson, Austin Price, and sister, Louise Chandler.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to your favorite charity.
