Terry Flemons Obituary

Terry Allen Flemons, 54, of Cataula, Georgia passed away on July 5, 2020 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Hospital with his loving wife by his side.
Terry was born on September 1st, 1965 to Buddy and Brenda Flemons, in Lubbock, Texas. He was raised in Wichita Falls, Texas where he graduated from S.H Rider High School as a member of the Class of 1983. In 1984, Terry became a member of the United States Army, where he served in Desert Storm. He was honorably discharged in 1992, when he then made his home in Georgia.
He worked for Dolly Madison during this new chapter of his life, and he continued to work there before retiring after 17 years. On February 14, 2004 he married his soulmate, Sharon Tucker Flemons. He was not a man of few words, and he was filled with a passionate love for news, sports, history, rare coins, his children and grandchildren. He was often called "Walter", by his parents, in reference to the late Walter Cronkite, due to his love of filling in everyone on the top news stories of the day.
He was a patriot and devoted family man until he left this world to be with the lord after a year long battle with cancer and other health conditions.
He is survived by the love of his life, Sharon Tucker Flemons. His children, Mallory Naugher and husband Drew, Tyler Flemons and significant other Erin Hartley, Desirae Grantham and husband CW, Taylor Ledford, Kasey Flemons and significant other James York, and Melissa Day.
