Alice Diane Utter Napier, 69, of Columbus, GA died Friday, March 4, 2016 at Columbus Hospice.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, March 7, 2016 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Terry Robbins officiating. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Napier was born November 29, 1946 in Dover, NJ, daughter to the late Oakley Edward Utter, Sr. and Marjorie Elaine Bement Utter. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She retired after 29 and a half years from Swift Spinning Mills. Ms. Napier was a member of Bethany Worship center.
Survivors include sons, Russell Phillip Napier III, and Brian Edward Napier, Sr.; daughter, Patricia Lynn (Napier) Mitchell; brother, Oakley Edward Utter, Jr.; step-mother, Grace Utter; step-brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Paula Stark; grandchildren, Amber Leslie Napier, Jessica Lynn Brown, Jimmy Ramon Mitchell, III, Shannon Renea Mitchell, and Brian Edward Napier, Jr,; great grandchildren, Jaxon Phillip Napier, Ansley Diane Napier, Jeremiah Arthur Lee Dixon and Darien James Dixon III; special friends to include but not to exceed , June Kappel, Pat Wyman, and Alice Rackley (Bootie) and many more.
