Alicia Harp

It is with great sadness that the family of Alicia Plott Harp announces her passing on January 4th, 2026, at the age of 48.

Alicia was born on November 27th, 1977, to Rose and Leonard Plott. Alicia was a resident of Columbus, Georgia. She graduated from Shaw High School, class of 1996, and went on to complete her Bachelor's degree from Troy University (2006) and her Master's in Information Systems from The University of Phoenix (2025). She worked as a Senior Manager of Information Security Compliance at eHealth, having formerly spent 25 years working at Aflac. She loved going to the beach, taking her dog on walks, spending time with loved ones, and seeing a beautiful sunset. 

A proud mother and loving daughter, Alicia is survived by her two children, Katelynn and Brendan Harp, as well as the father of her children, Bradley Harp (Noor). She is also survived by her parents, Rose and Leonard Plott, her brother Joshua Plott, her sister Jenna Kemp, her aunts Peggy Simonson, Christina Plott, Renee Keefer, and numerous cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Renee and Leland Simonson, as well as Edna Rodgers and Dawson Plott. A lifelong lover of animals, Alicia leaves behind her two cats, Callie and Luna, as well as her beloved dog Lily. 

By her request, no service is planned. Instead, a private family gathering will take place to celebrate her life.
