Mr. Allen H. Lynn, 73, of Donalsonville, GA, passed away peacefully October 4, 2015 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at McMullen Funeral home chapel with Reverend Hank Reeves officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Lynn was born October 12, 1941 to the late Rufus and Bessie Lynn. He was an active member of Glenn Anthony Baptist Church and was retired from Smith & Nephew Medical and Morton Machine Works. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Lynn, his three sisters, and two brothers.
Survivors include his daughters, Alisa Caldwell (Donnie) of Mableton, GA, Starla Woodruff (Randy) of Phenix City, AL, son, Michael Brian Lynn of Columbus, GA, brother, Eddie Lynn of Donalsonville, GA, sister, Pauline Sheffield of Fayetteville, GA, grandsons, Chris Woodruff (Jena) of Auburn AL, Jeremy Caldwell of Mableton, GA, granddaughters, Ashley Youngblood (Nick) of Phenix City, AL, Courtney Caldwell (Michael) of Mabelton, GA, great-grandchildren, Bentley Woodruff and Braxtyn Youngblood, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Glenn Anthony Baptist Church 1109 39th Street Columbus, GA 31904.
