Alta "Maria" McCutchen, 75, of Upatoi, GA died Thursday, February 23, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Gene Wiseman officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. McCutchen was born July 17, 1941 in Tampa, FL daughter of the late Joseph M. Cacciatore and Hazel Juanita Harrison Cacciatore. She was a homemaker and the Treasurer for Fountain City Twirlers. Mrs. McCutchen was also a member of Celebration Place and she loved square dancing. She also was a jeweler for many years.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Seagroves and a brother, Joseph Cacciatore.
Survivors include her loving husband, Warren A. McCutchen, daughter, Penney Ellison (Mark), sister, Carolyn Toole (Claude), grandchildren, Corey Ellison, Billy Ellison (Kathryn), John "Andy" Free (Lisa) and Michael Boyd (Stacie), great grandchildren, Jessica, Johnathan and Cristin, great great grandchild, Bailey, step-children, Kenny McCutchen (Connie), Penny Dinkel (Bob), Sandy Terry (Bryan), Kevin McCutchen and Michael Fisher.
