Bea was born in Etowah, Tennessee on August 25, 1927, to the late Bascom Burl Fowler and Ethel Curtis. She married Wayne Trimble and had one son, Dan. Excluding her time as a stay-at-home Mom, Bea worked for over 26 years as a budget analyst for the Department of the Army at the Pentagon.
Bea placed God first, closely followed by family. She was an avid student of Precepts Bible Study, and faithful member of Schomburg Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed helping friends, especially those in nursing homes. She enjoyed cooking and traveling, particularly when it allowed her to spend time with her son, her daughter-in-law, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Bea was cherished by all who knew her, and will be greatly missed.
Other than her parents, Bea is preceded in death by her husband, and by her siblings Margaret, Juanita, Tom, Doris, and Teen. Bea is survived by her son, Dan Trimble (Carol) of Columbus, Georgia; siblings Jay Fowler of Etowah, Tennessee, and Renee Layton of Beaufort, North Carolina; grandchildren Kelly Ann Trimble of Atlanta, Georgia, and Don Trimble (Lauren) of Richmond, California; great-grandchildren Hadley Mae Trimble and Hazel Bea Trimble; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.
