Bernard T. Love, 66, of Mauk, GA died Saturday, December 18, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Vernon Prather officiating. The family will receive friends following the service according to the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Love was born January 19, 1944 in Dothan, AL son of the late Henry Ford, Sr. and Annette Brackin Love. He was an engineer for the Columbus Fire Department from 1965 to 1998 and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was an avid hunter and accomplished two Purina championships.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Ford Love, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Parker Love of Mauk, GA, children, Lisa Brown (Patrick) of Stewart Co., GA, Lora Foster (Michael) of Augusta, GA and Krista Dennis (Bo) of Washginton, D.C., grandchildren, Rachel, Shaun, Aeden, Ethan and Ava, and a brother, Rusty Love (Darlyne) of Columbus, GA.
