1SG (Ret) Bobby C. Mills, 81, of Columbus, GA, died Monday May 18, 2015 at the Columbus, Hospice House.
Funeral services with full military honors will be 1:00 PM Friday May 22, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA, with Reverend Greg Webb officiating. A private interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Mills was born October 21, 1933 in Brantley, AL to the late John Emitt Mills and Jessie Lee Davis, Mills. He was a retired First Sergeant with the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War were he received numerous awards. After his career with the U. S. Army he was an owner operator of his own business in heating and air conditioning.
Survivors include his children, Danny Mills and Donny Mills both of Ft. Pierce, FL, Tamitha Potter (Timothy) of Columbus, GA, Bobbie Garner (Terry) of Columbus, GA, Kimberly Mayhand (Lenzy) of Smiths Station, AL, and Craig Mills (Bobbie Jo) of Goshen, IN, brothers and sisters, Grace Usher, Gayle Prignano (Joe), Lynda McKinstry, and Roland "Buddy" Mills all of Pahokee, FL, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and his fiancé, Judith Larusch of Columbus, GA
