Byron Deleno Taylor

Byron Deleno Taylor, 80, died Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Columbus Hospice House. A graveside service with Fireman Honors will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Parkhill Cemetery, with Rev. Jerry Speer officiating.

Byron was born July 19, 1940 in Columbus, GA, son of the late Charlie and Murkel Taylor. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Byron retired as a Lieutenant with the Columbus Fire Department after 35 years of service to the community.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings; Eleanor, Peggy, Lamar, and Gloria.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Taylor of Columbus, GA; children, Vickie Blanchard (John) of Columbus, GA, Lange Keith Taylor of Columbus, GA; sisters, Remvia Hunsinger (Danny) of Ellerslie, GA, Wanda Ogden (Bill) of Ellerslie, GA, Patricia Brasington (Tommy) of Monroe, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
