Calvin Floyd passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, nearly one year to the day after the passing of his beloved wife, Nan.

Calvin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his three daughters: Helen Devlin (Edward) and their children, Eddie and Bryanne; Nancy Chalkley (Michael) and their children, Alex and Nick; and Kristi Pumillo (Steve) and their children, Caroline, Amanda, AJ, and Ava. He is also lovingly remembered by Henry Faber, who was like a son to Calvin and is like a brother to his daughters, holding a special place in the family. In addition to his wife, Calvin was preceded in death by their cherished son, Bryan.

For over twenty years, Calvin was a familiar and welcoming presence as a daily television host, most notably alongside Nan on Rise-n-Shine. Together, they brought warmth and joy into the homes of many.

Calvin found great happiness in life’s simple pleasures—fishing at his cabin, sharing stories with friends, and cooking meals to bring people together. He will be remembered for his kindness, his generosity, and the way he made everyone feel like family.

A service to celebrate Calvin’s life will be held on April 4 at 2:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home
