Carey Dees, 48, passed away on September 13th, 2026. She was born on July 28th, 1978.Carey will be remembered for her sense of humor and her ability to make people laugh. She was a Georgia Bulldogs football fan, loved Stevie Nicks, and had a personality that those who knew her will not soon forget.In recent years, Carey faced a number of health challenges and struggled deeply following the loss of her father, Ray. His passing affected her greatly, and she missed him dearly. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with him and with the loved ones who passed before her.Carey is survived by her stepmother, Sally Dees; her brother, John, and sister-in-law, Crystal; her sister-in-law, Samantha; eight nieces and nephews; her aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her dog, Mac.She was preceded in death by her father, Ray Dees; her brother, Anthony Booker; and her grandmother, Frances Dees.Carey’s life had its share of difficult seasons, but those difficulties do not erase the laughter, memories, and moments shared with the people who loved her.
