Catherine was born on July 10, 1932 in Boston, MA to the late Percy Cheverie and Catherine Hawes Cheverie. She was a faithful member of St. Anne Catholic Church for over fifty years. She loved her family, treasured her doll collection, and adored the beach. She especially loved the ocean during a storm, for it reminded her of Gloucester, Massachusetts, where she grew up. No matter what, she always saved room for dessert.

She is survived by her daughters, Roxann Simms (Kevin) of Midland, GA; Rochelle Ressmeyer (Scott) of Fortson, GA; Rhonda Stephens (Neil) of Columbus, GA; and Renee Young (Andy) of Midland, GA; sister, Urilla Cheverie (Phil) of New Hampshire; brother, James Cheverie (Pam) of Florida; five grandchildren, Catherine Elizabeth Berli (Andy); Jeremy Crusa; Joshua Crusa; Ralph Dellemonache, III and Drew Young; two great-grandchildren Dean Berli and Lucy Berli; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.
