Cathy Clemons

Cathy Lynette Clemons, 72, of Buford, Georgia died Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday February 28, 2026, in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Cathy was born on July 18, 1953, to William “Billy” and Wanda Clemons in Columbus, GA. Cathy grew up in Columbus, Georgia. In 1980, Cathy moved to Walworth, Wisconsin where she lived at the Christian League for the Handicapped for approximately 30 years before returning to live in Columbus again in 2003 to be closer to family. In 2020, Cathy moved to Buford, Georgia to live with her sister, Amy.

Cathy is survived by her mother, Wanda Clemons and four siblings and their families.- Reba Shorts (Neil) of Cooperstown, PA, Carey Clemons (Kris) of Cataula, GA, Beth Atkinson (Marshall) of Pine Mountain, GA, Amy Reiff (Stan) of Buford, GA, Aunt Reba Crisp, Aunt Shirley Burns, 10 nieces and nephews, and 19 great nieces and nephews, along with many friends.
