Cheryl "Sherry" Wells
October 12, 1963 — August 1, 2019
Cheryl "Sherry" Wells, age 55, passed away peacefully August 1, 2019 after her long fight with cancer. She was born October 12, 1963 in Columbus, Georgia to Robert and Jo Ann Spence. She and her husband Christopher Wells were married in Columbus, Georgia. She had two children Bradley "Brad" Ritch and Brittney Ritch, and two step children Jackson Wells and Jordan Wells.
Sherry was a beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend, and so much more. Sherry loved to help other people, and dedicated 33 years to doing that with Direct Services. She loved her work, the people that she did it with, and the people they served together.
She was preceded in death by her mother Jo Ann Spence and brother Robert Joseph Spence Jr.
In addition to her husband and children she is survived by her father Robert Joseph Spence, sister Kristin Spence Pimental (Gene), her dear friend and caretaker Becky Foxworth several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Sherry's request there will not be a funeral service, and the family will gather privately to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Direct Services at Directservices.org
