Christopher Collier Toland

Christopher Toland, 40, of Columbus Ga, passed away March 16, 2026 at his residence.

The family will celebrate his life 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 21, 2026 in the chapel of  McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Parkhill cemetery following the services. 

Christopher was born June 5, 1985 in Knox, Indiana to the late Danny L Toland Sr and Cynthia Smith. Christopher was raised in Columbus Ga by his mother and alongside his brothers (Justin and Bobby) and cousin's (Leslie and Wendy). Christopher married his best friend and soulmate May 22 2006. Together they formed a bond that will live through eternity. Through there love they had three beautiful daughters Jamie, Amberlynn and Mary Elizabeth Toland. Christopher loved his family especially his wife and daughters. If he wasn't spending time with his family he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the wilderness. He was a dedicated family man. Which in turn made him a hardworking and loyal man. He worked for S&D Drywall for 20 plus years where he made an impact on so many people's life's. Because of his dedication to his job and his sense of humor making it at times go by fast. 

He will be missed by so many people he left an impact on this including his nieces and nephews Bryson, Autumn, Molly Sue, Hunter, David, Robert, and Emmit. And his cousins Jason, Chelsea, Julie and Randy this including there children Liam, McKinley and Maelee. Christopher was loved by so many and he loved so many people. 

Welcoming him through the gates of heaven he is preceded in death by his grandparents William R. Busse Sr and Kathryn A Busse. His father Danny L Toland Sr. Also, his step father James David Smith. His beautiful daughter Mary Elizabeth and his beautiful niece Madison Toland. And his older brother Danny L Toland Jr, and his little cousin Joe Collins (Lil Joe). 

Our hearts are broken from the loss of you but that shows the love we all had for you and continue to have you. You will be forever missed and we can't wait to see you again. We love you. Rest in peace.
