Corrinne Helland Cook 90, of Columbus, Georgia died Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Canterbury Nursing Home in Phenix City, Alabama.
Graveside services will be held 10:30 EST. Friday, September 4, 2020 in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, facemasks and social distancing will be required for those attending.
Corrinne was born May 28, 1930 in Mott, North Dakota daughter of the late Jonas C. and Eunce Tingstad Helland. Corrine was the oldest of four siblings. One sister, Esther Helland, two brothers, Paul Helland and Clayton Helland. Corrine worked and retired as a Civil Service worker in Fort Benning, Ga. She was a loving and devoted friend and family member to her BFF (Roz). Corrinne never met a stranger and will be forever loved and missed by her family.
Other than her parents and family members, Corrinne was preceded in death by her husband MSG. (Ret.) Hugh Cook.
