Daniel Franz Jones

Daniel F. Jones, 41, of Cataula, GA, passed away on June 7, 2025, in Edinburgh, Scotland.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Pierce Chapel Church, with a memory-sharing reception to follow according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory.

Daniel was born on November 11, 1983, in Aschaffenburg, Germany, to Karin and Ross Jones.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Nicole “Nikki” Jones; their two children, Zachary (10) and Zoey (3) Jones; his mother, Karin Jones; father, Ross Jones (Linda Jones), and brother Timothy Jones.

Danny spent years serving the community as a member of the Columbus Police Department before bringing his dedication and heart into a career in real estate. He was a beloved husband, devoted father, and a true friend to many. Known for his curiosity and enthusiasm, Danny was always diving into a new challenge—whether solving a Rubik’s cube, tackling a puzzle, or taking on a home project—and he had a special way of bringing others along for the ride. From the depths of scuba diving to the heights of the sky, he lived a life filled with wonder, laughter, and adventure.

Danny’s legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the memories he created with those he loved most. His spirit, humor, and boundless heart will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
