Danny Whatley 71 of Columbus Georgia passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday September 22nd 2026.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, September 25, 2026 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Ed Rollins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Survived by Wife: Cindy Whatley, Sons: Shawn Whatley (Sommer), Cody Whatley, Grandchildren: Savannah Moss (Jermel), Sierra Whatley, Aubrey Dakota Whatley, Nolan Whatley, Hunter Noles, Great grand kids: Kynslee Woody, Kylah Woody. He will truly be missed by family, friends, and all who knew him. Danny was preceded in death by his parents Gene and Hellon Whatley, as well as his brother Wilford Whatley and sister Mary Jean Hoffman.
