Darlene Ruth Fountain, born December 9, 1939, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 7, 2026.

She will be remembered with love by her family, whose lives were shaped by her steady presence and enduring care. Darlene is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Giovengo, (Danny); by her sons, Carl Fountain (Michelle)  and William Fountain (Chrystal) ; and by her grandchildren, Misty, William II, Samuel, Amanda, and Christopher. Each of them carries forward the memory of her life, her love, and the place she held at the heart of her family.

Her passing leaves a deep absence, but also a lasting gratitude for the years shared with her and for the bonds of family that continue in her memory. May those who knew and loved Darlene find comfort in one another and in the remembrance of a life that will not be forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a viewing on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, Georgia 31907. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. at the same location.
