SSG (Ret.) David Hale Rowan, 43, of Phenix City, AL, died Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Midtown Medical Center.
Graveside Services with Full Military Honors will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, October 30, 2017 at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4:00-6:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
SSG (Ret.) Rowan was born July 2, 1974 in Falls Church, VA, son of Charles "Yank" and Nancy Rowan.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jonathan Rowan.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle J. Rowan of Phenix City, AL; mother and father, Charles "Yank" and Nancy Rowan of Watertown, CT; sisters, Robin Rowan Bilodeau (Paul) of Terryville, CT, Beth Rowan Wells (Jake) of Juno Beach, FL and Kelly Rowan Katilus (Matt) of Enfield, CT, 3 nephews and 2 nieces.
