Deborah Peacock Crockett

Deborah Peacock Crockett, 72 of Columbus, GA. passed away on Wednesday January 7, 2026 at Columbus Hospice House with her loving family by her side. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00, Monday January 12, 2026 at Glenn Anthony Baptist Church, 1109 39th Street, Columbus, GA 31904. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm, Saturday, January 10, 2026 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Deborah was born on September 14, 1953 in Columbus, GA to the late John Ellis Peacock and Floy Lorene Taylor Peacock. During her long career at First Union Bank in Columbus, GA she made many lifelong friends from clients and co-workers. She was a life-long member of Glenn Anthony Baptist Church and a member of The Women’s Baptist Church Group.

Deborah had many loves including gardening, laughter, spending time with family and especially her church. Nothing was more important to her than the special times spent together with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Saletra Glover (Carrie) of Salem, AL and son: Mark Glover (Stacy) of Hamilton, GA. Grandchildren: Spencer Glover, Timmothy Glover, Kaleb Smith and Shelby Lunde. She was also blessed with Seven Great Grandchildren. Additional family members include, Trena Curry, Annett Burnette (Tom) and The Women’s Baptist Church Group at Glenn Anthony.
