Don "Brennan" Mcguire

Don "Brennan" McGuire, Sr., 84, of Uptaoi, GA died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Father Frank Patterson officiating. A private family interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. McGuire was born November 18, 1931 in Columbus, GA son of the late Cecil Hubbard McGuire and Myrtle Storey McGuire. He graduated from Jordan High School and the University of Georgia. He was the manager at Columbus Dodge and then worked and retired after 22 years from Bill Heard Chevrolet and won the Diamond Award for Sales from General Motors. Mr. McGuire was also a member of the Columbus Lions Club. He was a proud fisherman and loved NASCAR.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard McGuire.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Susan Sheehan McGuire of Upatoi, GA, daughter, Paige White (Jason) of Hamilton, GA, son, Don B. McGuire, Jr. of Waverly Hall, GA, sisters, Betty McGuire Allen (Larry) and Barbara McGuire Lloyd all of Columbus, GA, and grandchildren, Tyler White, Brennan White, Hannah White and Mary Katherine White.
