Dorothy Jordan (GaGa), 89, of Columbus, GA died Monday, June 16, 2014 at Columbus Hospice House.
Cryptside Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Chapel of the Pines Mausoleum with Chaplain Wayne Hollaway officiating. The family will receive friends following the service according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Jordan was born December 24, 1924 in Poulan, GA, daughter of the late Joseph S. Hobby and Gladys L. Patterson Hobby. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. She retired after 35 years from Sears and Robuck as a sales associate. She graduated from Jordan High School in 1943.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis A. Jordan, Jr. and grandson-in-law, Bill Bowers.
Survivors include her daughters, Gwen Myers (Jack) of Midland, GA and Patricia Hawkins (Mike) of Effingham, IL; step-son, Curtis A. Jordan, III (Mona) of Warner Robins, GA; grandchildren, Lisa Bowers, Randy Cowart (LaDonna), Shannon Wedig; great-grandchildren, Brett, Carson, Mitchell, and Rylan.
