Dorothy Mae Wadkins, 95, of Hamilton, GA, died Saturday, December 4, 2016 at her residence.
Graveside Services will be held 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Jay Bailey Officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Wadkins was born September 3, 1921 in Leeds, AL, daughter of the late Oscar Franklin Andrews and Bessie Copeland Andrews. She was a member of Solid Rock Assembly of God and was a homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wesley Wadkins and brother, James Andrews.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Whitehead (Bruce) of Hamilton, GA; son, Wesley Wadkins (Betsy) of Fortson, GA; sister, Shirley Kibble of Ft. Shaw, Montana; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
