Eileen Patricia "Patty" Hales, 63, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Hales was born November 18, 1955 in Virginia Beach, VA daughter of the late Linwood Taylor and Eileen Thomas Taylor. She worked in the call center at Anthem and was a Catholic by faith. She loved traveling with her family, painting, music, reading, last minute adventures and "mommy and me" trips. She was an avid supporter of Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. Her family was the most important thing to her.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Nessmith.
Survivors include her husband, Kenny Hales of Columbus, GA, children, Alisha Grizzard, Amy Gunter and David Gibson, Jr. all of Columbus, GA, siblings, Robert Taylor and Theresa "T Bird" Thornton (Grady) all of Columbus, GA, and grandchildren, Melody Parker, Micah Parker and Madison Grizzard.
