Elizabeth R. Chalkley

Elizabeth R. Chalkley, 95, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at Columbus Hospice House.

Funeral services will be held at a later time according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory.

Elizabeth was born July 20, 1927 in Newark, NJ to the late Henry F. Rentschler and Josephine Danuloska.  She retired after many years as an administrative specialist in the retail industry.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William R. Chalkley, her sister-in-law, Betty Clefisch, brother, Henry Rentschler and sister, Dudie Fasano.

Survivors include her two daughters; Lisa Chalkley Beasley (David) of Fortson, GA, Leigh Anne Chalkley Thompson, (Rick) of Cataula, GA, four grandchildren; Chris Beasley, Jason Beasley, (Sue) and Justin Beasley, and Justin Thompson, (Stephanie), and two great grandchildren; Rowan and Everly Thompson.
