Elizabeth Ann (Gann) Marshall, 88, peacefully entered her heavenly home on July 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

A Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00PM, July 18, 2026 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Elizabeth was a woman of unwavering faith whose love for God and her church guided every chapter of her life. Even through many years of illness and physical pain, she remained strong in spirit and steadfast in her beliefs. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now healed, free from pain, and reunited in Heaven with the love of her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Richard L. Marshall Sr., whom she loved with all her heart. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and unconditional love.

Throughout her life, Elizabeth worked in a variety of occupations, but her greatest calling was being a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She poured her heart into her family and made everyone who entered her home feel welcome.

Nothing brought Elizabeth greater joy than her family. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and delighted in watching her family grow with the arrival of her great-grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and she loved each one beyond measure.

She is survived by her loving sister, Carolyn Umphrey (Butch); her three sons, Richard L. Marshall Jr. (Judy) Mike Marshall (Anne) and Marc Marshall (Kimberly); as well as several beloved grandchildren and treasured great-grandchildren, all of whom loved her deeply and will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.

Elizabeth leaves behind a legacy of faith, compassion, hospitality, strength, and unconditional love. She taught those around her the importance of family, kindness, and perseverance. Although her family will miss her deeply, they rejoice in knowing she is at peace and reunited with those who went before her.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

  • Isaiah 41:10“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you.”

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.
