Eula Mae Moore Profile Photo

With heavy heart and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Eula Mae Moore of Columbus Georgia. Born and raised in La Grange, Georgia, Eula was the heart and soul of our family. She lived a long, rich life, spanning generations--leaving behind a family tree rooted in her strength , her love and her unshakeable presence. She spent her life nurturing those around her with wisdom earned through experience, a sharp sense of humor and a spirit that refused to be broken by the hardships life somtimes offered. She taught us the value of hard work and the importance of kindness. She had a way of making people feel seen, heard and valued. Whether she was offering advice, telling stories from years past, or simply sitting beside you in silence, her presence was a comfort all its own. Though she wasn't one for fuss or fanfare, Eula had a way of making everyone feel at home, just being herself. Eula was a loving mother of 4 children Lynn Missildine, Phyllis Moore, Jackie Phillips (wife Lorena), Charles (Pat) Phillips (wife Tracy). She was also a proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews.   She is preceded in death by her mother- Vera Louise (Allen) Brand, father-Homer Elsberry Brand, husband- Clayton Moore, her brother- James, sisters- Leola, Ollie and Beatrice. Eula Moore's life was not defined by grand gestures or loud declarations, but by the steady, everyday ways she showed up for the people she loved. She may have walked softly through this world, but her impact was mighty, and her spirit will never be forgotten.
