Evelyn Westbrook Torpey, 77, of Thonotosassa, FL passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00 AM Monday, May 13, 2019 at Thonotosassa United Methodist Church 11905 Fort King Hwy Thonotosassa, FL.
Evelyn was born Dec. 24, 1941 in Elmira, NY and she lived in Pennsylvania until she moved to Florida with her 3 children. Evelyn succeed in life by putting herself through beauty school then owning several successful business' in Florida and Alabama. She was a member of the UMWA and volunteered at the Methodist thrift store.
Evelyn is survived by son, David Bradley (Yolanda); daughters, Karen Massey (James) and Kim Smith (Ronnie), 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; brother Richard Morter (Mena), sister Edna Byrd, nieces and nephews and many who called her Mom and Granna.
She is so deeply missed by all.
