Frances A. Cook, 71, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at her residence.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm CST, Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Frances was born September 17, 1953 in Alexander City, AL to the late James Arnold Hamby and Dorothy Bryant Hamby. She was a Registered Nurse at Russell Hospital. She loved gardening, painting and canning.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Gray.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bill Cook of Columbus, GA, son, James “Will” William Cook (Danielle) of Columbus, GA, brother, Mike Hamby (Linda) of Alexander, AL, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
