Gary Wayne "Goody" Goodman, 72, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Midtown Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Parkhill Cemetery 4161 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907 according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Goodman was born December 15, 1944 in Columbus, GA son of the late Estel and Gladys Snellgrove Goodman. He retired after 33 years as a Lieutenant from the Columbus Fire Department. He was a devoted and loving family man. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan. Mr. Goodman was often sought out to offer advice and wise counsel.
Survivors include his loving wife, Shirley Hardman Goodman of Columbus, GA, son, Brian Goodman (Renee) of Phenix City, AL, daughter, Tracie Goodman Price of Columbus, GA, grandson, Kyle Price of Columbus, GA, siblings, Paul Goodman, Deborah Goodman Harper, Stephen Goodman and Darlene Goodman Moskowicz.
