Gary Bryant Roberts, 64, of Hamilton, GA died Sunday, October 9, 2011 at The Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Roberts was born February 6, 1947 in Columbus, GA son of Francis Farmer Roberts of Columbus, GA and the late Ronald Roberts. He was the former owner of Phenix Tobacco Company, 12th Ave. Shell, and Park Place Deli.
Survivors other than his mother include his loving wife, Polly Herring Roberts of Hamilton, GA, daughters, Alyce Roberts Maddox (Brandon) of Columbus, GA, Jennifer Roberts Hall (Gerald) of Columbus, GA and Morgan Taylor (Bradley) of Columbus, GA, and grandchildren, Sophie Maddox, Jake Hall, Emma Rose Hall, and Max Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Valley Rescue Mission 2903 2nd Ave. Columbus, GA 31904.
