Gisela E. Jones 81 of Columbus, Ga died Thursday, June 8, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 12, 2017 at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus. The family requests everyone attending the Graveside services Monday meet at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory at 10:15 A.M. for the procession to the cemetery.
Mrs. Jones was born November 11, 1935 in Nurnburg, Germany daughter of the late Karl and Anna Suttner. She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching Nascar, wrestling and loved spending time with her German friends in Columbus.
Other than her parents, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Jackson Jones and her son, Charles Gary Jones.
Survivors include three sons; Rob Jones (Missy) of Midland, Ga, Steven Jones (Sandra) of Midland, Ga, and Peter Jones of Columbus, Ga and 7 grandchildren.
