Glenda Faye Tadley, 71, of Columbus, GA. died Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Midtown Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907 with Dr. Aaron Baldridge officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Ms. Tadley was born December 1, 1942 in Columbus, GA. daughter of the late Albert Lewis Williams and Catherine Schultz Williams. She retired as a supervisor with Swift Spinning Mills in Columbus, GA and was a member of Calvary Free Will Baptist Church.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Billie Anne Ward and a brother Charlie Thomas Williams.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell Tadley (Waina) of Phoenix, AZ and Alex Tadley of Columbus, GA; one daughter, Staci Hurley of Columbus, GA; two sisters, Martha DuPriest of Hamilton, GA and Beverly Patterson of East Moline, IL; two brothers, Raymond Williams of Ft Mitchell, AL and Albert Williams of Smiths, AL; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
