Helen Izora Seymour Floyd, 93, of Colquitt, GA died Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Miller County Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Colquitt City Cemetery in Colquitt, GA with Reverend Mark Worsley officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Floyd was born March 3, 1920 in Berrin County, GA daughter of the late Isom Leon Seymour and Ida Moore Seymour. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Milton Floyd, daughter, Marcia Helen Floyd Worsley, son, Philip Leon Floyd, and grandson, Bryan Hornsby.
Survivors include her son, Calvin Newton Floyd (LaNan) of Cusseta, GA, grandchildren, Patrick Lee Worsley, Mark Anthony Worsley, Helen LaNan Floyd Devlin, Nancy Renea Floyd Chalkley, Kristi Lea Floyd and Selina Diane Floyd, daughter-in-law, Shelia Floyd of Lakeland, FL, son-in-law, Talmadge Worsley (Jewell) of Colquitt, GA.
