Imogene Delores Akins Anderson 78, of Columbus, Georgia died Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown.
A private Graveside Service will be held Tuesday at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Georgia 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, facemasks and social distancing will be required for those attending the visitation.
Mrs. Anderson was born January 09, 1942 in Perry, Florida daughter of the late Ullesses S. Akins and Elizabeth Gentry Williams. She worked for Swift Spinning Mills and was a self-employed house keeper.
Other than her parents, Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her brother Tony Akins.
Survivors include her children, Jymi Temples-Rafi, Dena Price and her husband Morris of Panama City, Florida, James Temples, Jr. of Columbus, Georgia, sister, Anita Davis of Columbus, Georgia 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
