James Glenn Faircloth, affectionately known as Glen, was born on April 25, 1952, in Albertville, Alabama. He passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025, in Columbus, Georgia, leaving behind a legacy of love, humor, and cherished memories.

Glen dedicated many years of his life to his career, first as a truck driver traversing the country, and later as a concrete plant manager until his retirement. His commitment to his work was a testament to his strong work ethic and determination.

Educationally, Glenn laid a solid foundation for his career and personal growth. He earned his high school diploma from Jordan High School and later pursued his passion for technology, receiving a diploma in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration from Columbus Technical College.

A proud veteran, Glenn served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War, exemplifying his bravery and dedication to his country.

Glenn was known for his warm and funny personality. He was a caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, always striving to bring joy and laughter to those around him. He found immense happiness in spending time with his family and was particularly fond of cooking for them, often sharing his culinary creations with loved ones.

In addition to his love for family, Glenn had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought him joy. He enjoyed fishing and had a deep passion for Alabama football and NASCAR, often sharing these interests with friends and family.

Glenn is survived by his beloved wife, Grace Faircloth; his daughter, Karen Gray; and son, Craig Faircloth. He was the proud father-in-law of Christopher Gray and the loving grandfather of Joshua Gray, Justin Gray, Jaron Gray, Nathan Johnson, and Aiden Poole. Glen also leaves behind his sister, Joan Carden; sisters-in-law, Lorie Hudson and Angie Brechtelsbauer; as well as niece, Jennifer Gauge; nephew, James Elzey; and many great-grandchildren and cousins.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, James T. Faircloth and Elizabeth Faircloth. His presence will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know him. In this time of sorrow, let us remember Glen for the joy he brought into our lives and the warmth he shared with everyone around him.
