Mr. James Edward Grantham, age 80, of Fortson, GA died at his residence on Thursday, January 05, 2017.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday evening, January 09, 2017 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
Mr. Grantham was born April 21, 1936 in Dothan, AL son of the late Foy Grantham and Liza Lee (Elizabeth) Grantham. He was also, preceded in death by his wife, Billie Lehman Grantham. Mr. Grantham enjoyed wildlife, feeding them, watching them and rescuing them. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends; however his memories will continue to live in our hearts.
Mr. Grantham is survived by his children, Linda Baker (Harold), Columbus, GA, Michael Grantham, Hurtsboro, Al, Skyla Grantham, Columbus, GA, Tammy Jackson (Allen), Smiths Station, AL, Tony Grantham, Columbus, GA, James Grantham, Columbus, GA, Theodore A. Folsom (Kim), Dothan, AL and Manor Folsom, Melbourne, FL; one brother, Gene Grantham (Shirley), Columbus, GA; twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
