James Michael Parrish, 58, of Columbus, GA died Monday, May 9, 2016 at his home.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Parrish was born January 31, 1958 in Columbus, GA son of the late Wallace L. and Eulalia Mack Parrish. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the City of Columbus.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amanda Bishop and brother, Donald Parrish.
Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Donna Gray Parrish of Columbus, GA, daughters, Kristi Kauffman (David) of Cusseta, GA and Jami Parrish of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Cody Wrenn, Adyson Wrenn, Memphis Wrenn and Mathew Wrenn all of Columbus, GA and Bradley Bishop of Cusseta, GA, sisters, Janie McCarty (Arnold) of Columbus, GA and Angela Sanders of Mauk, GA, brother, Billy Parrish of Pensacola, FL, and many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society 233 12th St. #710 Columbus, GA 31901.
