Janice A. Jensen, 85, of Columbus, GA passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at The Landings of Columbus.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM, Monday, July 13, 2026 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.

Janice was born September 20, 1940 in Warren, Rhode Island to Mr. and Mrs. Evers.

Janice is predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband James R. Jensen, and daughter Sherry Jensen.

She is survived by her daughters Lisa Smith ( Lonnie Smith) of Phenix City, AL, and Karen Driskell ( Pierce Driskell ) of Douglasville, GA; sons, Michael Jensen of Hamilton, GA and Jimmy Jensen ( Tatyana Jenson ) of Temple, GA; grandchildren, Brigitte Hurlock ( John Hurlock) of Yuma, AZ, Blake Smith ( Taylor Smith ) of Ludowici, GA, and Brandon Smith of Phenix City, AL; great grandchildren, Kaelyn Hurlock, Grace Smith, Olivia Smith, and multiple nieces and nephews.
